About Brooke

Brooke is an Edmonton-based producer, host, professional improvisor, and stand-up comedian. She makes rooms full of strangers feel like old friends—whether through a crafted set, an audience-inspired scene, or a show she has brought to life from the ground up.
She believes that when people are laughing, they are listening. Brooke is the founder and producer of the Irrational Women and Irrational Science events and series at Irrational Brewing Company—pairing experts with humour to tackle hard topics and misinformation, and blending her own love of science with a desire to create community.

Brooke Rose is an executive development leader and certified fundraiser who believes that safe, stable housing is the foundation for a thriving community. Brooke acts as a philanthropic matchmaker—connecting visionary supporters with opportunities to be part of something far bigger than themselves.
With more than 16 years of healthcare philanthropy experience across Canada and Australia, Brooke has helped generate over $40 million in support for medical research, health, and community initiatives. Her expertise spans major gift strategy, international stakeholder engagement, and executive team leadership.
Brooke holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership, a CFRE credential, and is currently finishing her MBA. She blends business strategy and financial discipline with a creative, human-centred approach to partnership.
